Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how M2 Technologies (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our apps and services, including JustSay, AlertBox, FraudAlert, PaisaAlert and StaffAlert (together, the “Services”).
We collect only what we need to run and improve the Services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
On-device processing
Many features run entirely on your phone. JustSay converts speech to text and polishes it on your device. AlertBox, PaisaAlert and FraudAlert read notifications on your device to announce payments or warn you about scams. Voice recordings, message contents and notification contents processed for these features are not uploaded to our servers.
Information we collect
- Device and app information such as device model, Android version, app version and crash diagnostics, used to keep the apps reliable.
- Usage information such as which features are used, used in aggregate to improve the Services.
- Account and subscription information such as a phone number or email address and purchase status, where a product requires sign-in or a paid plan. Payments are processed by Google Play or our payment partner; we do not store full card or bank details.
- Business information you enter, such as staff names and attendance records in StaffAlert, stored so the feature can work.
- Support communications you send us by email.
Permissions
Some apps ask for Android permissions that are core to how they work, for example notification access (to detect UPI payment alerts or scam messages), microphone (for voice typing) and display over other apps (for the JustSay bubble). Permissions are used only for the feature they are requested for, and you can revoke them at any time in Android settings.
How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To diagnose problems and improve performance and accuracy.
- To respond to support requests and send service-related messages.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services (such as cloud hosting, crash reporting and payment processing), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. If M2 Technologies is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices
You can stop using any app by uninstalling it. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with you through our account deletion page or by emailing support@m2tech.io.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
